About Our Breeding Program

How long have you been breeding Jack Russells?

I've been around Jack Russells since I was 5 years old, and I started my breeding program because of my lifelong passion for the breed. My breeding dogs come from carefully selected bloodlines, and I'm dedicated to improving the health and temperament of Jack Russells through responsible breeding practices.

Are your dogs registered?

Yes! All of my puppies are registered. We offer both AKC Russell Terriers and EJRTCA (English Jack Russell Terrier Club of America) registered puppies, depending on the breeding lines.

What health testing do you do?

All of my breeding dogs undergo comprehensive health testing including genetic screening for conditions like Primary Lens Luxation (PLL), Ataxia, and other hereditary conditions. You can learn more on our Health Testing page.

Do you breed only for show dogs or also for family pets?

I breed Jack Russells for both show potential AND family companions. All of my puppies are raised in my home with my family and are socialized extensively. Whether a puppy goes on to compete, work on a farm, or be a beloved family pet, they receive the same care and attention.

About Puppies & Pricing

How much does a puppy cost?

Puppies range from $800 to $1,000 depending on bloodline and characteristics. I price puppies fairly based on their genetics, health testing, and potential. A $150 deposit secures your reservation and is applied toward the final price.

What's included with my puppy?

Your puppy comes with:

  • Vet check and certification of health
  • Age-appropriate vaccinations
  • Deworming
  • Microchip
  • Registration papers
  • Care instructions and health information
  • Go-home bag with food sample, toys, and favorite items
  • Health guarantee (2 years against genetic defects)
  • Lifelong support from me!
Can I choose the sex of my puppy?

When available, yes! Let me know your preference when you reserve your puppy. If a specific sex isn't available, we can discuss alternatives or wait for the next litter.

Do you have puppies available now?

Litter availability changes frequently. Please contact me to ask about current availability or to get on the waiting list for an upcoming litter. I'll keep you updated on expectations and timelines.

About the Reservation Process

How do I reserve a puppy?

Head to our Puppy Reservation section and fill out the form with your information and preferences. You'll submit a $150 deposit to secure your spot. I'll contact you within 24 hours to finalize details!

Is the deposit refundable?

The $150 deposit is non-refundable but fully applied toward your final puppy payment. This deposit secures your spot and helps me plan appropriately for each litter.

When can I pick up my puppy?

Puppies are typically ready for pickup at 8 weeks of age. This gives them time to bond with their littermates, receive proper socialization, and get their vaccinations. We'll work with you on timing and delivery options if needed.

Do you do delivery or shipping?

Typically, families pick up their puppies from my home in Arkansas. If distance is an issue, let's discuss options. Shipping puppies isn't ideal for their stress levels, but we can explore what works best for your situation.

About Spay/Neuter & Breeding Rights

Are puppies sold on limited rights?

Yes. All puppies are sold on limited rights (no breeding) unless we've specifically discussed breeding rights with you. Limited rights mean your puppy should be spayed or neutered and cannot be bred.

Can I get breeding rights?

I'm very selective about breeding rights. If you're interested, we'd need to have a detailed conversation about your breeding plans, experience, health testing protocols, and goals. I only give breeding rights to people who share my passion for improving the breed responsibly.

When should I spay/neuter my puppy?

I recommend discussing the right timing with your veterinarian. Most vets recommend waiting until puppies are at least 6 months old, and some prefer waiting until 1 year old for larger dogs. For small dogs like Jack Russells, wait until they're physically mature. Never spay/neuter before discussing with your vet!

About Returning a Puppy

What if my life circumstances change and I can't keep my puppy?

Life happens! If you can no longer care for your puppy or dog, please reach out to me immediately. I'd rather have the dog back with me than have it end up in rescue or a bad situation. We can discuss the best options for your puppy.

Do you have a health guarantee or return policy?

Yes! I provide a 2-year health guarantee against hereditary genetic defects. If your puppy develops a genetic health issue, I will replace the puppy or provide a full refund. This guarantee gives you peace of mind that your puppy comes from a responsible breeder who stands behind their animals.
